The Coalition stays abreast of proposed new developments on the barrier island and intracoastal areas, assuring that building heights, population density and environmental protection restrictions are upheld and in compliance with local and state policies.

Changes to Coastal Neighborhoods

Long range planning by municipalities and the County is also followed closely. Proposed plans to annex County pockets and enclaves, widen waterways and create master plans for beach areas undoubtedly affect the character of the area and should be understood by all.
